Step into a kingdom swallowed by darkness, where sight no longer matters and sound has become the only way to understand the world.

In A King’s Story, you navigate entirely through audio. Every movement, obstacle, pathway, and presence must be discovered by listening carefully to the soundscape around you. Navigate pathways and solve more intricate sound puzzles : pushing through a crowd, sliding through a pipe and escaping quicksands. 

The kingdom has lived in darkness for so long that nobody remembers why.

You are its king and you have to escape from a conspiracy. 

In fleeing your palace, you cross this strange civilization : habits, rituals, and even relationships have evolved around sound instead of sight. People recognize one another by the sound of their bracelets. Food is loved for the noise it makes when eaten. 

As you explore the origins of this forgotten world, you will uncover a fable about power, freedom, and the ways societies adapt to fear and control.

A King’s Story follows in the footsteps of games like Papa Sangre and Blind Drive to deliver new and unique gameplay emotions through sound.

Developed by a passionate independent team, the game aims to be both original and accessible to a wide audience. The challenge is designed to be engaging without being punishing, allowing players to immerse themselves naturally in this unusual sensory experience.
